Million People March

It was National Heroes Day in our country and the Filipinos did their patriotism and did what was for the people and for the country. Hundreds of thousand of our fellow Filipinos gathered in Luneta Park (#MillionPeopleMarch) to answer a call of protest against the misuse of Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) also known as 'Pork Barrel' in the current issue of alleged 10 Billion Peso Pork Barrel Scam. It was a call against Pork Barrel, it was a protest against PDAF misuse.

Million People March

It was the voice of the people, showing the administration and to everyone the shout against 'Pork Barrel' and its misuse. The alleged 10 Billion Peso Pork Scam has brought Filipinos together in a fight against corruption. On that same day, Filipino hackers joined the cause through hacking several public and government owned sites but not those site which are of critically used for information sharing.  Most of them are local government sites. Gathering in some other part of the country and even from abroad, fellow Filipinos showed their part, as same gathering were also done sharing the same sentiments and cause. Not to count the online posts rage over the internet and social media networks against the misuse of Pork Barrel and for its abolition.

The event will took its part in the history of our country just like the two People Power Revolutions. It was the voice of the people. Those were there may not count the majority of the entire count of all the Filipinos all over the world but the sentiments and cause they may share as one.
